To design this Modern Art Pillow we were inspired by Wassily Kandinsky painting “Gravitation”, 1935.
To design this pillow (18” x 18”). we used needles #3 and cotton yarn of many colors. These colors are not exactly the same as the colors in Kandinsky's painting called “Gravitation”.

Row 6: Knit 1, add 1 stitch after each 3 stitches. Row 8: Knit 2, add 1 stitch after each 4 stitches.
Row 10: Knit 2, add 1 stitch after each 4 stitches. Even rows: All knits.
Row 27: Perl 2; decrease 1 stitch after each 4 stitches (Perl 2 stitches together).
Row 29, 31, 33: All Perl. Row 35: Perl 1; decrease 1 stitch after each 2 stitches (Perl 2 stitches together).
Row 36: All Knit. Row 37: Perl 1; Perl each 2 stitches together. Cast off.
Sew the egg together leaving a small opening to fill it with poly-fill then close the opening.
