Cast on 38 stitches using red yarn.
Knit 3 rows with red yarn then start knitting a snowflake with white yarn.
Follow the pattern until you knit three snowflakes and knit 3 more rows.
Close 19 stitches and knit 4 more rows.
Sew a cotton bag and fill it in with organic rice or beans and put it in the knitted pillow case. Relax and enjoy!

To design this Modern Art Pillow we were inspired by Wassily Kandinsky painting “Gravitation”, 1935.
To design this pillow (18” x 18”). We used needles #3 and cotton yarn of many colors. These colors are not exactly the same as colors on Kandinsky “Gravitation”.
We mostly used yarn that we had and we would not advise people to buy a lot of different yarn colors. Please look at the 'Kandinsky Pillow Colors.pdf' file down of the Modern Art page to see the list of colors we used.
